#AtoZChallenge Post: H for Henrietta the Dragon Slayer by Beth Barany

Dragons are often part of a fantasy tale. For me, I find it nice to have a momentary escape in a magical world filled with dragons, unicorns and such. The experience would be better if the tale feels and looks real to a reader. I’m looking forward to reading this one. It’s part of my to-read list.

Do you like fantasy? Any fantasy books that you’ve read or want to read?

Been spending my days reading fairy tales; pre-fantasy books I believe. That is only because I am with children 11 hours a day :) But someday I'll read a 'real' book. chuckle Prayers appreciated * another a to z blogger

Love dragons! The ones that won't roast me alive, at any rate. :)

I'll read YA and MG fantasy, but I find the adult stuff pretty snore worthy these days. Most high fantasy authors have forgotten the need to build constant tension...and I guess that's okay. They have an audience--it's just not me. =)

When Dragons are done right, I'm a total sap.

I like anything that looks or feels real in a story, or at least grounded in reality. This one sounds good.

I do enjoy fantasy stories and I especially love dragons, but I haven't read any recently. Lately I've been reading different genres.

I love reading fantasy, dragons, unicorns, mermaids (bring them all on).

I am one of those strange people who doesn't read fantasy at all. Weird, I know. I'm more of a creative non-fiction girl. Give me memoir and stark reality!

For the fantasy writers out there, this reality reading did not pass down to my next generation. My daughters LOVE fantasy!
