This is one of the books I’ve received that is geared for
the very young audience. It’s colorful and the images are really nice.
For my Qs: What children’s book appealed to you because of
its colorful illustrations? Or, do you—or your children (if you have
any)—prefer books with black and white illustrations in its pages?

I love ALL the books by Dr. Seuss... they are unforgettable!
Nothing beats The Cat In The Hat or Green Eggs and Ham...
I'm actually thinking of purchasing his entire collection (if I can get hold of it and it also depends on the price...)

What a beautiful front cover, it's so bright :)
Love the cover! New follower here. I'm stopping by from the "A to Z" challenge, and I look forward to visiting again.
So pretty. I do love colorful things, but for me it's more about a quirky title and clever content. One of my favorites is Captain Flynn and the Dinosaur Pirates. EPIC.
Oddly enough, my son wasn't into these books for very long so none really stuck with me...except Knuffle Bunny :)
I always loved the fun and whimsical nature of Dr. Seuss though.
