This is a nice book for middle graders. I received a copy of
this and have written a review for it. Nice cover, right?
If you take a good look at it, you’ll have an idea on what the story is about.
Got some questions for you:
Do you like reading books for middle graders?
If you are an author, how do you come up with something
“unexpected” for your characters?
If you’re not an author, what sort of things would scare you
out of your wits if they eventually occur in your life?

HI, Sittie,
Interesting theme. I'm doing something to stir up ideas. Brainstorming usually helps me come up with ideas.

I love the cover! I'd read it based on that.
I am definitely considering it for my almost ten-year-old son. Made a note of it. Thank you for the recommendation. As a writer, I set up something unexpected way in advance, with a minor clue -- be it a description, a unique way of talking, or anything that stands out but doesn't call a lot of attention. When the unexpected does happen, the reader will be able to piece things together with a sense of ... Aha, I should've seen that coming.
See you around the tour.
