Since it's the merry month of May, here's a little something that I'd like to share if you're feeling a little down, a little insecure, a little out-of-sorts lately. Hope this cheers you up.
Writers have their down moments. I know.
So how do you find your bliss when you need it the most?
For me, it's in the little things that we already have. To see them, all you need to do is open your eyes, write a brand new script, enjoy the moment, and they'll arrive.
If you can't find 'em, no worries. They'll come.
To those of you who need something nice, fun and happy to focus on at the start of this month, I sincerely hope that my warm wishes to you (that all start with the word MAY since it's the month of May) would help make you feel good. And then you take it from there. Build on it. Sustain it. Embrace it.
MAY you all be in the best of health.
MAY you run towards it, or MAY it come to you as swiftly and as comforting as a soft, cool breeze on your face.

MAY your fun, little WANTS in life trudge in your widely-opened door.
(Your WANTS may be a handful of chocolates, a cup of coffee, a surprise visit from a dear friend, that much-awaited day to sign a book contract with a publisher,
wonderful ideas for a new story, etc..)
No matter what your WANTS may be, welcome them in with open arms and a huge, happy smile on your face. Go ahead and embrace that fun, little WANT
and see how wonderful they make you feel.

MAY you see ALL the good things in life that shall give you
the most wonderful feelings of fun and bliss. Like rainbows, a starlit sky, dawn, dusk, raindrops, birds chirping overhead, etc.

I could go on and on, but that would make this a long post.
Anyway, when you do all those things, you'll get...

And THAT's how you find bliss. :-)
So, are you smiling right now? Ready to write that wonderful story of yours? Ready to embrace the challenges of this month with that smile on your face? I hope so. :-)
Note: What I wrote above is a bit like something that I do when I feel a little insecure. I focus on other things that will make me feel happy. And then, I realize that happiness comes in. It really does. :-)
What about you? How do you find your bliss? Oh, do tell! I'd love to know.
Happy IWSG day to you and MAY you have the most awesome, blissful month of MAY! Sending you virtual *HUGS*! It's time for me to visit the others. I'll see you next post!

I can face anything as long as there is chocolate and coffee!! Let's do this:)
What a positive and encouraging post! Thank you for this. :)
And I hope your meeting goes well!
I loved that! Your post is very encouraging. I haven't been writing lately and you made me want to get back into it.
Have fun at the meeting! :)
Thank you for the positive & upbeat post, Sittie!
I would LOVE to be "hugged by words" - such a captivating picture!!
(I'll be thinking of you on Friday... that's very exciting...)
happy IWSG Day!
@Jennifer Hawes: Oh, there is. Don't worry. :-) Yup! Let's do this!
@Madeline Mora-Summonte: You're welcome.
I hope so, too.
@Chrys Fey: Great! Happy writing, Chrys!
@Michelle Wallace: You're welcome.
Yes, it sure is a lovely and captivating photo.
Thank you so much, Michelle!
For now, at the very beginning of my writing adventure, I just am happy when what I write makes me smile. When I read it and... simply like it :)
May is a happy month. It's one of my favorites.
As for me, nothing can cheer me up faster than a hug, a bubble bath, a good book, or a cuddle with my cats. Not necessarily in that order.
Your little blessings of love always make me happy, Cates. My bliss lives in a room full of windows with uptown life and wind chimes outside, while inside, a cuckoo clock and a cup of coffee hug me while my fingers play stories on keyboard.
May we all have a good month and remember to look for those things that make us smile.
Thanks for putting out all the positive vibes, Sittie. May it all come back to you. :)
Thanks for the positive vibes. I'm doing good right now, but will store them for later when I need them. =)
Thank you for my smile. I agree bliss is were you make it. :-)
Here's my link if you'd like to drop by :-)

I will always remember THIS particular May, and be happy in the memory, because my son is getting married to a lovely and wonderful young woman, who has already stolen my heart. I will keep this in mind whenever I get overloaded or down. Thank you for the "May" words of encouragement!
The IWSG makes it all worthwhile for me. I have found my smile.
Love this positive and encouraging post. May we all achieve our dreams.
I love the love in this post. Beautiful. And MAY your May be just as blessed.
Thanks for the inspiration! I really needed that.
